Slow is a modular sofa designed by Simone Bonanni for Carpanese Home composed of elements with rounded lines, generous seats and rounded backrests supported by exposed wooden or lacquered structures. As a result of the designer’s years of research into graphic synthesis and shape refinement, these elements make a distinctive yet subtle statement. The flexible arrangement options offered by Slow stem from components, crafted for effortless combination, facilitating the creation of linear, island, open corner, or right-angle configurations, adaptable to both small and large spaces. Arranged with nuanced precision, the elements resemble a still image of a gentle dance, where each module seamlessly aligns and blends in accordance with the intrinsic principles of nature.
Slow’s materials are equally adaptable, featuring natural fabrics, leathers, and soft wools to match the leg finishes. A project for endless variations.
