Designed by Matteo Zorzenoni for Carpanese Home, Slabs coffee table engages with shape perception and the flexibility of multiple perspectives. The result of interlocking flat multi-material panels, the legs of Slabs culminate in curved shapes that seamlessly integrate with the tabletop, giving the impression of a single, continuous and harmonious volume, with no clear interruptions between the different components. The lines of the top are softened by rounded corners to further reinforce the concept of a natural shape that is constantly evolving. Striking a balance between functionality and sculpture, in this project concept serves as both a practical object and an aesthetically enriching element within its environment.
